Welcome to The Grazing Farmstead
The Grazing Farmstead has moved from raising cattle to hair sheep and now the Australian White Sheep. I began this journey learning about the breed in 2025 and meeting my friend and mentor Marque Renshaw. While I talked to many others Marque opened her farm up and shared all her knowledge about the trials and successes she has experienced along the AW journey.
The Australian White Sheep brings lambs born with immense vitality & vigor and fast growth. Prepare to wean your ram lambs at 8-10 weeks as they are close to 60# or more and are becoming fertile.
I provide a top tier loose mineral, kelp and baking soda in front of my sheep at all times. The flock is moved to fresh grass every 2-3 days and I utilize electric netting to keep my sheep & dogs in and predators out.
