We are mesmerized with these animals called alpacas. We would like to share what we have learned in helping you get started. Wondering about where to begin? Let us help you decide for yourself what is the right type of alpaca herd for you. Perhaps only 3 as pets or for your own fiber source. You can have their fleece spun up into yarn and make garments from your own animals! If you know how to spin, or want to learn, this is a away to keep supplied with fiber. If you are more interested in entering alpaca ranching as a breeder we can discuss options as to where you want to begin. First, what ever your interest is, come and visit. See whether a Huacaya (wah-k-eye-ya) or Suri (sir-ee) tickles your fancy. You can see either type at our farm. You can even schedule a visit for us to show you how to take care of these beautiful animals. During the visit we can discuss their care and answer questions about how we manage our herd. Or if you're just curious give us a call to arrange a visit. We'd love to introduce you to an alpaca or two!
