Welcome to Twilight Alpacas Farm!
We are a small farm located in the picturesque Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York. Since purchasing our first female alpaca in 2008, our farm has grown to include a herd of twenty-four alpacas and four Great Pyrenees guardian dogs. It is our passion to raise these beautiful alpacas to breed, show, sell and — most importantly — produce their gorgeous fiber.
Our mission is to breed quality alpacas and to educate people about the benefits of raising these environmentally friendly animals and promote their superior fiber.
We welcome farm visitors and alpaca lovers, and invite you to meet these amazing, lovable natives of the Andes Mountains and learn about the alpaca lifestyle. As a Harvest Host destination we look forward to your stays with us!
Feel the warmth and softness of alpaca fiber in our fully stocked farm shop, featuring many alpaca products: clothing and accessories — including the most comfortable socks you’ll ever wear! — and a variety of gifts for your hard-to-shop-for friends. In addition, our alpacas’ undyed fleeces are spun for us at a local mill on Keuka Lake and we have skeins of gorgeous alpaca yarn available for your next knitting, crocheting, or weaving project.
We have alpacas for sale, and we are always delighted to mentor newcomers in raising alpacas. Our current herd is fifteen female and five male adults, four crias from summer 2024, and we are expecting three crias in summer 2025.
