Just two miles from the center of Camden, Maine, with views of Penobscot Bay, historic Blueberry Farm is home to Abigail and John Fitzgerald and their prize-winning herd of Huacaya alpacas. Bred for sound health and sheared once a year for their glorious wool, these darling alpacas are an abundant source of pleasure and are raised with genuine affection.

Blueberry Farm Alpacas welcomed their foundation herd, four pregnant females one with cria at side, in the winter of 2003.

From the beginning we selected and bred for healthy and reproductively sound alpacas. Our husbandry and nutritional programs focus on the wellbeing and comfort of our animals. Healthy breeding stock is a must. Winning in the show ring is a bonus.

We have a wide range of alpacas for sale from ribbon winning males and females, pregnant and maiden females and stud males to charming geldings that make wonderful pets.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

Our farm is open 'By Appointment Only'.

Call or email with the dates and times you wish to visit.

Re-homing six males

After 19 years of careful and caring alpaca farming an injury that has put me out of commission for several weeks has prompted the decision to reduce my herd.At 79 years young, it saddens me to do this but I cannot go through another similar situation as this. I am not selling these males who have brought me great joy. What I want is good homes for them.
