Northern Solstice Alpaca Farm began as a dream of one day owning alpacas to becoming our present-day operation as a well-established, quickly and easily recognized alpaca breeder, education center and retail operation.
We take exceptional care of our alpacas and provide an impeccable environment for them in our modern facility. Our cleanliness is unsurpassed and biosecurity efforts and personal, hands-on care are exemplary. Our breeding program includes some of the most prestigious alpaca bloodlines in the industry. Our sales list represents incredible possibilities - from breeders to companions; all colors of the spectrum; male or female; bred or not. We offer competitive prices and excellent financing terms. Our innovative ‘Buy and Board’ program allows individuals and families to own just one or a couple of alpacas while we provide all of the car.
Our retail endeavor offers our farm store, our online store, and has expanded to opening an additional retail location, Maine Alpaca Experience on Route 1 in Northport, Maine. This greatly expands our presence and allows us to bring the value of alpaca fiber to the public. The Northport location features a complete line of clothing, gifts and toy lines, a fully stocked yarn and accessories shop complete with free spinning and knitting lessons and a knitter's gallery.

Farm Terms & Financing

Northern Solstice Alpaca Farm offers you flexible and competitive financing on the purchase of our alpacas for qualified buyers. We develop a financing arrangement that meets both party's needs. Our buy & board program is designed for you to board your alpacas at Northern Solstice and we provide ultimate care.
If your alpacas are boarded here at Northern Solstice Alpaca Farm, they will continue to receive the same outstanding health care until you are ready for delivery. Boarding will be at a rate of $5.00 per day.
