Welcome to Lazy K Ranch
Lazy K Ranch started in December of 1999. We purchased our first 9 alpacas while living in Southern California and hit the show seen.
Since then we have been fine tuning our breeding program. Still growing and learning, we are very excited about this year's cria and our move to North Carolina!
Our ranch will be on 30 acres of pasture (Woo Hoo!) and I believe that alpacas are already happier. The climate will take a little getting use to. Nevada was dry heat and now we will learn about humidity. We hope to get our farm store this year and Kay would like to check out the locate textile college and learn more about fiber and fiber processing.
This move is going to be a great thing for us and we are very excited about all of it. There will be so much to learn again and we are really looking forward to it.

We have relocated to North Carolina and it has been a learning experience! Our herd of alpacas have finally figured out what grass is and they love their new pastures!
We are open by appointment only. So please call first for a visit.
We are now in our permanent home in Rougemont. It feels like we are just starting out again even though we have had alpacas for over 20 years!
