FarmWelcome!

Anything worth doing, is worth doing right. Starting out in the alpaca business takes time, planning, and preparation. Anyone with experience with alpacas will tell you that you need to start out with at least three alpacas, and you need to visit several farms before jumping into buying these amazing animals.

John and I spent several months visiting farms, assisting with herd health days and shearing, setting up barns, building fences, installing power sources, analyzing water and pasture content, and studying vet and other professional sources on alpaca care before the first alpaca came to our farm. Selecting mentors with many years of experience that are just as passionate about alpacas and their care today as they were when they first started is also very key to success in the alpaca business. Being able to call our mentors with any and all questions gives us peace of mind and gives us the tools we need to succeed, This is something we pass on to anyone interested in learning more about alpacas and their fiber.

We are open for farm tours by appointment and we would love to share what we have learned about alpacas and alpaca business. We hope to see you soon!
