We had our first encounter with alpacas in 2007 and the seed was planted! By spring of 2008, we had purchased our first alpacas, five bred females and two males. Our herd has grown considerably since then along with our knowledge and appreciation of all the benefits of these unique animals.
Our kids have grown up but remain very involved in our alpaca business. It's all hands on deck at shearing time and the show season finds our daughters in the show ring.
Our breeding program is focused on color and we are proud to have some very unique and impressive bloodlines on our farm. Along with breeding high quality animals, we also have a farm store where we are able to showcase the many wonderful products produced from our alpaca fiber.
Raising alpacas has been a rewarding and enjoyable experience for our family. We have been fortunate to make some wonderful friends in the alpaca industry and continue to enjoy the many benefits of this business.
We give many farm tours and are always happy to share our experiences with others.
