UPCOMING TRANSPORTS:

  • 2026
    • Spring Shows -
      • At this time we don't have a solid schedule for shows but most likely Nationals (Fort Wayne, IN), CABA (Salem, OR) and GWAS (Cheyenne, WY).
      • Unforunately, we won't be going to TXOLAN because Heather will be apprenticing there and we don't want to create a conflict.  But we plan to be there in 2027!
    • Coast to Coast General Trips
      • May - Leaving the first week Counterclockwise from Oregon down into CA and then East through CO, TX all the way to the East Coast and returning through the northern section of the US to include MT.
      • June - Leaving the second week  Clockwise from Oregon up into MT heading to the east coast and then running through the Southern portion of the US including TX and CA on the way back to Oregon.
      • September - Leaving mid-month
      • November - Leaving the second week
    • Fall Shows - We haven't committed to any fall shows at this time.
    • Additional Transports
      • We currently don't have any scheduled, but are always happy to squeeze in dedicated farm moves or short transports if the need arises so don't hesitate to ask.

ANIMALS WE TRANSPORT

  • On coast-to-coast general transports, we only transport camelids (alpacas and llamas).  The main reason for this is to ensure they aren't exposed to parasites or other diseases that they aren't accustomed to.  Camelids can't typically handle the same parasite load as sheep, goats or other animals so we don't mix them.
  • For dedicated transports where the customer "rents" the entire trailer, we're more than happy to move whatever animals you want moved, as long as they can be combined on the trailer.  Our trailer has three compartments with an adjustable cut gate and a fixed gate, so we have the ability to separate into three areas if necessary.

NOTES:

  • We are based in Central Oregon so all leave dates shown above are departure dates from Oregon. Typically the coast-to-coast trips take 12 to 16 days, depending on the route and quantity of animals on-board.
  • My coast to coast trips typically fill up 30 to 45 days prior to departure so please schedule with me as early as possible.  I hate to tell people there isn't room but last-minute adds are difficult to accomodate with the demand.
  • CVI's - I REQUIRE CVI's FOR ALL ANIMALS ON THE TRAILER.  Even if they're not traveling outside of the state they are picked up in, it's required. This is required for the health and safety of all animals on the trailer.

TRANSPORT OPTIONS

  • Group transports:   These are typically what our transports consist of.  The dates are typically pre-scheduled and animals are picked up and dropped off along the route.  Males and females are separated however all females will be combined in their own compartment as well as males.
  • Dedicated compartment:  At this time, we do NOT offer a dedicated compartment.  Due to the overwhelming popularity of our general transports, we just don't have the space to create individual compartments.
  • Dedicated transports:  When you only want your animals on the trailer this is the perfect option.  It's great for herd moves, large groups of animals that are going to one location, high value animals or if there's a health concern where you don't want animals from different locations mixed.

EQUIPMENT

  • 24' x 8' Stock Trailer:
    • This is what we use for a majority of our transports.  It has vents on all sides, 12 in the roof and 2 in the front of the belly for great air circulation during the summer that can be closed in the winter.
    • During the summer, we also have fans that we'll run at night to keep the animals cool.  The total floor space available for animals is roughly 24' long x 8' wide and has 2 separate compartments.
  • Transit Van:
    • For shorter more local runs this is less expensive if you only need a few animals moved.
