Maremmas
Magik Springs Farm is the home of 2 Maremma Sheepdog of America registered guardian dogs for farm protection from predators. Maremmas were originally bred in Italy over 1,000 years ago to excel in herd protection from natural predators in open grazing lands. They are intelligent, loyal and dedicated to "their" charges.
My breeding pair delivered the first litter born on the farm in November 2013. Ten pups of excellent characteristics true to the breed. All sold rapidly to working farms.
A ?second litter is was born September 2014 and also now are all on new farms of their own.
Currently the breeding program is closed but hope to be up and going again in 2016-17.
