My husband and I have been in the alpaca business for about three years. We currently have over 70 animals and have purchased bloodlines from across Canada. We met the Arriba clan early on in our alpaca journey after reading an article Lori wrote in the CQ magazine that connected with us. We quickly made our first visit to Uxbridge and were very impressed, both with the quality of the animals as well as the care and handling techniques that were used at this farm. Lori is incredibly knowledgeable about everything alpaca, including alpaca health and care, handling methods, bloodlines and overall helpful industry information. Janet is very fibre focused and shared information we hadn't even thought about, like where to get our fibre processed, who might do our shearing, etc. We left the farm that day with so much useful information as well as plans to return for another visit.

 We have purchased a number of animals from Arriba Linea over the past three year and have been very pleased with their quality and show ring placement. The biggest thing that stands out for me however when I think about Arriba is not only their quality herd, but also the support and care that is provided during purchasing as well as when you get your animals home. The support that Lori and Tom provided to us in the beginning of our business venture was amazing! They visited our farm a number of times to offer suggestions or support, even after dropping off the animals we purchased. We had a major issue with a dam and her cria that we purchased out west at a reputable farm, and despite the fact that we did not purchase these animals at Arriba, Lori and Tom made the 3 hour journey to come and help . I know that a number of farms state on their website that they provide after care with purchase, but I feel confident in saying that no other farm would provide it to the level we received from Arriba Linea.

Lori and Tom are respected leaders in our industry. We are extremely impressed with the level of respect and care they offer their animals, and the knowledge they pass on to their customers. If you are even considering purchasing alpacas then you need to make a stop at Arriba Linea, you'll be thankful you did.

We have been working with, learning from and laughing with Lori and Tom since September 1, 2006. Both Lori and Tom are very involved with everyone they deal with because animal welfare is first and foremost for them. That is the only way to ensure that their alpacas are going to a good home.
