We are very pleased to offer Haltered Llama Treks on a wide variety of trails and pathways that extend many kilometers across our over 100 acres of rolling and scenic terrain here in beautiful Lanark Highlands, Ontario.
It is important to note that the availability of these Llama Treks, as well as the availability of particular paths and trailways on any given day, is impacted by weather conditions and the level of activity of our insect life here in Lanark Highlands, Ontario - Our winter Llama Treks are on well-groomed trails! In spring, summer and fall, we do regularly walk in rainy weather, however we do not walk in stormy weather. In the winter, we walk in light snow, but not during heavy storms, or in icy conditions.
Appropriate footwear is essential for anyone booking these Treks.
The cost of a Llama Trek is $30 per person and the trek can take up to 1 1/2 hours. Our Llama Treks can currently accommodate up to 10 guests walking with llamas.
LLAMA TREK GIFT CARDS are availabe on site and by mail - please contact us!
Although our Private Tours are open to all ages, our Llama Treks are for those 13 years of age and over.
Summer Llama Treks commence at 10:00 a.m. / Winter Llama Treks commence at 10:30 a.m. All Llama Treks must be booked in advance.
Each person / group must book their Trek time in advance and provide Serendipity Farm & Sanctuary, Alpacas & Llamas with contact information - we generally send a reminder Text Message the day before each Trek to confirm weather conditions, or should the Trek need to be cancelled for any reason.
All proceeds from these Llama Treks go directly to the care and feeding of these very special animals!
