    History of the Alpaca

    Field Trips

    • From Farm to Fiber
    • History of the Alpaca
    • Alpaca 101

Join us as we discuss several native countries to the alpaca and review certificates of our resident herd searching for evidence of their country of origin on these documents in this hands on learning experience. We'll give special attention to the role of alpacas in Peru with a focus on their ties to royalty. Afterwards, you will have the option of being  seated for a royal tea, featuring light snacks  (turkey pinwheels, vegetable cups, and petit fours) and of course tea. Dress for the occasion if you wish to or come casual.
