Nuno Felting Workshop
Discover the beautiful art of Nuno Felting, a unique fibre art technique that combines soft natural fibres with delicate silk to create lightweight, textured fabric. During this hands-on workshop, you'll learn the wet felting process, using luxurious alpaca fibre and silk to design and create your own one-of-a-kind scarf.
As warm water, soap, and gentle agitation are applied, the alpaca fibre migrates through the silk weave, permanently bonding the two fabrics together. The result is a stunning scarf with rich texture, beautiful drape, and the incredible softness that alpaca fibre is known for.
Whether you're new to fibre arts or have previous felting experience, this workshop is suitable for all skill levels. You'll be guided through each step of the process, from designing your layout to completing your finished wearable artwork.
