Sandi and Susan are spinners who were looking for affordable drop spindles. Not having much success we ventured out to the shop to make our own. We discovered a new passion and we want to share it with you. We began making spindles out of exotic hardwoods that we found in Sid's shop.
Our goal now is to offer beautiful spindles, both drop and support, to our fellow spinners and to those just learning to spin. As spinners ourselves, we try to keep the cost reasonable so we can get spindles into as many hands as possible. And, whenever we can, we are happy to teach customers how to use them.
Each spindle is a work of art in itself and a one of a kind tool offered in a wide variety of exotic hardwoods. We offer drop spindles as well as support spindles and accessories. The size and weight of each spindle is unique so as to accommodate all weights and types of spinning.
