MISSION STATEMENT: The Black Sheep Gathering is an annual event during which participants exchange their knowledge of and appreciation for handcraft fibers and the animals that produce them.

GOALS: The Black Sheep Gathering strives to provide an environment dedicated to: education, cooperation and participation, an atmosphere of fellowship and fun, and celebrating natural colored animals and their fibers.

Pacific Northwest Fiber Arts Expo

The Pacific Northwest Fiber Exposition was developed in 2021 as an event to encourage appreciation of and participation in all the fiber arts. Our mission is to foster an awareness and understanding of the fiber arts by providing a venue for workshops, demonstrations, and the sale of hand-made products, as well as to educate, support and inspire the fiber arts in our region and beyond.

The Pacific Northwest Alpaca Association (PNAA) is happy to announce it will be hosting a halter show and a walking fleece show, all at Eastern Oregon Trade and Event Center in Hermiston, OR. We hope you will join us for a weekend of beautiful alpacas, great networking with other alpaca owners and not yet owners, and a fun time to close out the fall season before we all ready our farms for winter.

Oregon Flock and Fiber Festiva

The largest fiber festival in the PNW with over 14,000 attendees. It includes a fleece show, vendor marketplace, live animal demos, and workshops.
Oregon Flock and Fiber is a weekend filled with classes, demonstrations, livestock shows, and an expansive marketplace with a wide array of fiber goods and accessories.

The celebrated fiber selection is silk and the craft is handcrafted needlework or embellishment. This includes counted cross stitch/petit point, hand embroidery, and crewel work.

Admission is FREE!
Workshops will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!

The marketplace is open Saturday 9am - 5pm and Sunday 9am - 4pm.
