Andino was a gorgeous proven herd sire with an impressive fleece that had to be seen and felt to believe. His fleece was known for its' extreme density (2003 shearing weighed 13 pounds!).

Chaccuna is the one that really jump started our light breeding program. Her direct descendants carry the same density and lingering fineness she possesses. Also, all their bites have maintained their perfection through the years.

Description

Although we no longer have access to Cuzco for breeding we are leaving him in our active list of males because we still have several of his progeny on the ranch. He has had a profound positive influence on our breeding program.

OUTSTANDING AND LIMITED GENETICS: Cuzco is sired by AOBA International 2001 Color Champion Eastwinds Andino (818131) a Pachacuti son (both deceased) and out of Chaccuna, our 5Peruvian Chaccu (deceased 2011) daughter, and PPeruvian Vengador granddaughter.

APPEALING PHENOTYPE: Cuzco's well-balanced conformation is correct with nice straight legs and solid bone. His fiber is dense with significant crimp, great staple length, and nice soft handle.

CHECK HIS FIBER STATS: It isn't often that you see the fiber stats of a 9 year old breeding male emphasized but we think you will be impressed. AFD 23.4, SD 4.5, CV 18.6, SF 22.3 %>30 6.3 It is no wonder we turn to him to improve fineness and handle.

PRODUCES COLOR when bred to color...so far 100% of the time.
