Thank you, Jodie Vanselow! We hope you get another modern rose gray! Mira's rose gray female cria out of GANYMEDE has arrived (4/6/20) -- and, she's already sold! So, Mira has been rebred to Ganymede. Obviously, if you purchase her, she'll need to hang out here until her new cria is weaned.

Mira's Spring 2020 cria, Proxi, is a beauty with solid bone just like her dam. She has a beautiful medium modern rose grey fleece, and we bet it'll be quite nice with excellent coverage and very good fineness. Her frame will likely be outstanding, and she is growing like a weed.

Mira has solid bone, excellent fleece coverage, brightness, great density, and a very good staple length. She's also proven to be an attentive mom, and an easy birther with plenty of milk. And she has a couple of very well known gray's in her pedigree.

Mira has an interesting and quirky personality (she's actually quite fun and inquisitive), and she gets along well with her herd, but when it comes to people, she can be a little difficult - especially if you want to touch her! Despite this, she's one of those girls that everyone who comes to the farm is taken with her big eyes and personality. She'll come right up to check you out...but, when you reciprocate by putting your hand out, she responds by saying: "Please...don't touch me!"

Mira's sire, Patagonia's Lennox, is a well known and sought after multi-Color Champion herdsire, and with 274 registered offspring to date (2/2017), he has produced more champions than any other sire at Patagonia Estates. His sire is one of the direct Chilean imports, Danko. Mira's dam brings the genetics of Snowmass Nova, 5Peruvian Chaccu, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova, Peruvian Bueno, and PPeruvian Caligula.

Financing Terms

Standard industry contracts are used. Breeding quality alpacas come with reproductive and live birth guarantees. You may take possession of your alpacas once the down payment is received and the “contract for purchase” signed by both parties. Transfer of ownership with ARI will not occur until full payment is received. Financing is available with 25 - 33% down, with up to 24 monthly payments. Buyer must purchase full mortality insurance for alpaca and offspring, if any, naming Man in the Moon Farm LLC as beneficiary on balance due until paid in full. Breedings include 60 day agistment unless otherwise noted. Special pricing often available for multiple alpaca purchases or multiple breeding purchase. Transportation responsibility of buyer. AUCTION & PACKAGED DEAL OFFERS: These are cash only unless different arrangements are made up front. No other discounts apply unless negotiated otherwise.
