Surprise, surprise:) Smokin Guns wins the Sires Cup at the CNASF 2026 and his offspring captured all 3 Supremes at the double Alpaca show held April 4,5,6th , 2026. Captain Canada offspring winning CNASF Supreme Alpaca ( male & female combined) and Supreme male and female at the A.L.P.A.C.A. Spring show. His daughter Marvelust winning Supeme female at the A.L.P.A.C.A. Show. He also sired Black Gr. Champion, Grand and Res Ch. Brown, Best grey at the CNASF & Black female Gr. Champ, Grand and Res. Champion Females, Grand Champion Fawn Male at the ALPACA show.
This is the first time in Canada a Grey has won the prestigious award of Supreme and at back to back shows.

What a pleasant surprise when this guy popped out, we were expecting color but not this dark! From day one the quality in this boy was evident, he was small (14 lbs) but mighty. His fleece brightness, tight pin curls that covered his body with impressive density captured the eye. He is 14.3% line bred Foundation and Ascott showing up twice in his pedigree. Smokin Gun was caught out in a terrible storm at about when he was 1 week old and became very ill, but through perseverance and will power, mega doses of vitamin D3 and vit. C, electrolytes plus and B12 he pulled through. It was around a 2 month + recovery period, with great perseverance and a willingness to survive he pulled through. His dam Birchleaf Foundations Kanita is our Pride and Joy who has proven her quality time and time again with Championships in both fleece and showring until 3 years old at which time we retired her after winning Supreme Alpaca at the BIG SHOW - CNASF 2019. His Grand Dam Sunita, was a powerhouse in the showring also, winning multiple Championships in both fleece and the Showring. His Sire Over The Top, also a multi Champion in both is a beast, that is Sired by the MFI & TNT Peruvian Foundation son of Jeremiah. Smokin Guns advancement of fleece characteristics from ears to knees has consistency of lock structure and lack of primaries, (our next step to 1 bag shearing :)
He is producing some exciting colors, passing along his fleece characteristics that show Judges are awarding.

His bloodlines on his Grand Sire Foundation's side are well known in the USA for their quality and anchor many farms elite lines, But his Sire and maternal lines that don't show up on his registration papers anchor his strength.
