Good things come in small packages, and Crackle is no exception. Offspring of a petite, blue ribbon winning dam, he stands 34 inches at the shoulder and 51 inches at the top of his raised head. Named because he resembles the color of rice krispie squares, Crackle’s light fawn and beige fleece is luxuriously thick and exhibits great coverage. This quality fleece has won awards at the Taos Wool Festival and was named divisional champion there in 2015. Crackle’s international roots are heavily Peruvian including bloodlines from renowned animals such as Royal Fawn and Dracula. Add Crackle’s wonderful genetics to your herd now!

Crackle, a proven stud, has great potential to enhance any herd. He is a show champion and the yarn we have had made from Crackle's fleece is wonderful. His conformation is solid. And Crackle is certainly interested in the girls! As we move into retiring from the alpaca business we hope Crackle will find a place where he can become the herdsire he was born to be.

Crackle will be shorn in mid June, so if you want his current fleece, now is the time to buy!

Should you purchase Crackle we will provide a mutually accepted contract. We accept checks or cash for payment in full upon pick up or delivery. We are sure Crackle is ready to fulfill herdsire duties but cannot guarantee successful breedings. While our animals are not insured, Crackle is currently healthy and we will have him checked by a veterinarian before pick up or delivery upon your request.

We can offer some discount on other alpacas in our herd should you be interested in more than one animal now.

It is springtime in the Rockies, so you can schedule a pick up here at our ranch free of charge anytime. If you choose to have him delivered we offer free delivery within 75 miles of Angel Fire, New Mexico. For deliveries farther from Angel Fire we ask for $0.35 per mile. If the delivery is over 175 miles from Angel Fire, then we ask for $200 for each overnight stay based on up to 7 hours of driving per day.
