NorthStar continues to show us that our breeding program is going in the right direction - the direction of the NorthStar!! 2024 Futurity Reserves Suri Herdsire of the year in BOTH dark and light offspring! And, in 2023, NorthStar was awarded the 2023 Futurity Light Herdsire of the Year! He has also earned our farm the honor of being awarded Suri Herdsire of the Year Medium Farm Division in 2024. After 25 years of breeding suris we are blessed to have produced this male on our farm.     Northstar is a BIG boy with great substance of bone. His fleece is absolutely brilliant with luster to spare! And, the hand to his fleece is what we're all breeding for.....slick, no drag, and very cool to the touch and oh so soft. He also has a presence that commands attention! And, lastly, he is the easiest, most mellow herdsire we've ever had on our farm. Personality plus with this boy

    NorthStar is proudly co-owned with Karen Ball and Russell Ratti of Heart & Soul Alpacas & Spinnery. They purchased half interest in this male before he even entered the showring as a juvenile! Thanks for your confidence in our breeding program! His show record and those of his offspring prove we were all right about our assessment of him, even as a juvenile. And, his offspring are at the top of the bidding in alpaca auctions!

    This girl definitely defines "bling"!! Her luster was evident the day she was born, from tip to tail on her 23.6 lb. cria body!! She has excellent conformation and is a large framed girl, just like her mom. Comments from her micron testing lab…”This is quite probably the best Suri sample I’ve ever tested. The lock formation is what every processor wishes for with literally no waste when separating the fibers. The length for 13 months growth at this age is excellent and the measurements are way above the average for this age and color.”

    Her sire, Sir Oliver Twist, has proven himself both in the show ring and in his offspring. His outside breedings are closed - this is how you get these genetics into your herd!

    Bling's first breeding produced a jaw dropping white male (Kingpin) out of none other than....our 2023 Futurity light suri herdsire of the year, WAP NorthStar! His cria have been wowing the judges in the showring and at auctions!

    She was bred to NorthStar's full brother, Defender (NorthStar was at co-owner's farm). She delivered a stunning beige female, Glamor Girl, on 6/27/24. Oh my, my, she is something! Ask about package pricing for mom and daughter.

    On 7/5/25 Bling delivered a stunning white female, Temptress, sired by NorthStar! Temptress is not included in Bling's purchase however....Bling has been bred to our newest herdsire (a NorthStar son!), Jackpot by NorthStar, for an August 2026 cria. This will be our first year of Jackpot cria - be one of the first to own one with purchase of Bling.
