Red Granite's Pruet by Bad Boy we hope will have the same longevity of fineness that his father has, Bad Boy. You can look under the sire tab on this page to see the AFD measurements on Bad Boy over the past 8 years. Pruet's first 3 histograms look like he will continue with this long line of longevity. All three of Pruet's Histogram show an AFD is under 19 microns. That is longevity. Further Pruet will increase density, crip, handle and fineness. Pruet can also improve your offspring in the area of uniformity with a consistent SDAFD at or under 3.8 SD. He is guaranteed to improve SDAFD having an EPD in this category at ranking of 0.7%. Putting Pruet in the 1% for SDAFD. Pruet will reduce medullation fiber given his EPD is 0.4 % in the rankings.

All of Pruet's EPD rankings are more than desirable, insuring definitive offspring improvement in 7 of 8 fiber traits. Not just a little improvement but significant improvement. Description

This is our 3rd girl out of our beautiful in looks and disposition Capulet. Capulet brings to Eve density through fleece weight and uniformity of fiber. And of course, Majestic's Man brings everything else and more. Both dam and sire have the ideal breed standard in conformation. Both bring density of bone to their offspring and Capulet brings a broad chest and large stature to her daughters.

Eve's fiber has been beautiful from day one. Long locks, tight bundling and luster and fine handle. Her Mom Capulet will feed other's crias and to date has passed that trait on to her daughters. Evie sheared 9.4 pounds of fleece as a 2-year-old, this is a testament to pairing of her Dam and Sire who are both bringing lots of density to their crias. If Eve has a fault, it is her uniformity of primary to secondary according to Judge Timmerman in her Walking Fleece report at Nationals (7/10 placement). A special stud to correct that is in her future. Take a look at her histogram it is very nice for 2022.

Evie is now bred to Red Granite's Pruet, certain to correct the fleece faults in Evie. Pruet is in the 1% in SDFD and 1% in percent of medullation. Pruet will produce improvement in all traits of Evie's Cria without changing the long uniform staple length that Evie produces.
