Description

Red Granites Hooligan -- a very fitting name for this young TRUE BLACK male.

An elite cross between Red Granites Tammerlane, our Lead Dark Colored Legionnaire son with amazing fineness, and MFI Hathaway's Hideout a True Black, Color Champion daughter of MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite. This genetic combination between Hooligan's maternal and paternal lineages will be yet another very potent crossing, producing animals with very fine BLACK colored fleeces with amazing uniformity.

Red Granites Hooligan is showing a lot of very crimpy fiber all across his body with such a long staple length despite his age. From the outside he looks like a little puffball but once you open him on up you see brightness, fineness, uniformity and a long staple length.

Take a look at the pedigree he carries: MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite & Black Peruvian Royal Forest on the dams side, two of the best black males to grace the United States herds. On the Sires side: Snowmass Matrix Majesty, Snowmass Legacy Gold, PHA Peruvian Taos and PCA Peruvian Microsoft. All of the males within hooligan's pedigree are/were lead color producing Herdsires in the US....
