Red Granites Val D Lsere has sired another stunning fawn female that is destined to be a producer of Champions -- but this one will produce DARK Champions with the fleece of a fawn huacaya. Red Granites Val D Lsere has constantly been creating offspring with exceptional fleeces and the true to type phenotype we breed for. His offspring posses bright uniform fleeces with lingering fineness and exceptional density. All of thise qualities that he passes onto his offspring have crowned him the 2021 Herdsire of the Year, 2021 and 2022 Dark Herdsire of the Year and 2021 Reserve Light Herdsire of the Year. Such consistency is unheard of in our industry today and is reflected in the incredible CONSISTENT quality of his offspring.

But when we add Crimson's dam, Red Granites' Cammie to the mix you add more color and a lingering fineness that beats the odds. Though never shown, Cammie has repeadidly reminded us of her amazing fleece qualities each year at shearing. At 5 years of age Cammie's 2022 histogram reads: 21.3, 4.8, 22.6, 5.3, 53.8, 21.0. This lingering fineness is by design not by fault, as her sire is CCNF Legionnaire the Futurity & National Fawn Champion son of Snowmass Matrix Majesty who in 2022 at 10 years of age reads: 19.6, 4.1, 20.9, 1.2, 56.0, 19.1. That is extremely impressive. Cammie is out of our late USA Peruvian Chassidy, who contributed to our finest BLACK production lines. Chassidy produced two BLACK foundation females for us while we had her, Red Granites Caya (Owned by Alpacas of Melodye Farms) and Red Granites Coos Bay. Both females have produced champions, Caya's Futurity Champion daughter, Red Granites Chicklet is a foundation female for one of the best black breeders in the United States, Cinco C Alpacas. Coos Bay is an MFI Pistol daughter and is the dam to our champion Black Herdsire, Red Granites Chandler Bay. The potent BLACK & FAWN production lines of our late Chassidy will help Crimson rise into a supreme foundation dam for anyone, but adding Val D Lsere and Legionnaire to the amazing mixture makes this female such a sacrifice.
