Description

Red Granites Echo is an unbelievable female, her almost 2-year-old fleece tested at 20.05 microns with an amazing SD of 3.2, this all as a BAY BLACK. There was no reason not to bring her into the Red Granite Foundation Herd.

Her Sire, Kiriwn is a 13-time champion brown male who has only produced the best offspring, and has always improved a females qualitys even if she didn't need the improving. Her Dam, Red Granites Emma is a super-fine white daughter of Accoyo America Apocalypse and by Stargazer's Alexis a PPeruvian Cahuide daughter.

Echo's color may have been a suprise but her first son was not a fluke, Red Granites El Dora sired by our very own Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose. El Dora is a beige male with the macho look. His juvenile fleece in 2021 tested at 17.3, 3.6, 20.6, 0.5, 51.0, 16.7 with a fleece weight of 5 pounds. Very fine and very uniform with density.

We know that the search for black alpacas has been high in demand over the past few years, and we know Echo can help improve a black/dark programs micron uniformity and fineness.
