Red Granites Tiger's Eye has such a beautiful rich brown fleece, which has to be felt to really be appreciated. It is so soft handling, very uniform in micron and color throughout, dense and exceptionally fine. This level of fineness and uniformity in a dark colored male isn’t seen every day...

He is a compact male who is conformationally correct with a very attractive head type. He is very well mannered and easy to handle.

Tiger's Eye has a real depth of high-quality genetics behind him and these have all played their part in the creation of such an exceptional deep brown fleece. CCNF Legionnaire has undoubtedly played a large part in the level of fineness and uniformity, with Aussie .38 Special providing the density and very soft handle and add in 4Peruvian Legacy, who has proven himself a crucial ingredient in so many top-performing alpacas...you can see why we rate Tiger's Eye so highly.

This male has an exceptional level of fineness & uniformity with a background that suggests prepotency for these traits, having parents who are both exhibiting above-average levels of both fineness and uniformity, even as they continue to age.

Red Granites Tiger's Eye was our finest animal tested in 2021 and was the second finest animal tested in 2022. His 2022 EPDs rank his 10th out of 29,710 males for AFD and 12th out of 29,710 for SF.
