Description

Red Granites Schweitzer is a stand-out male. He is beautifully conformed with a stunning head type, not to mention he oozes quality, has a perfect temperament and stands on a solid frame. He is a stand out macho in every sense.

Red Granites Schweitzer is a Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose son and out off another dam that ticks the quality box! Her name is Sunlight, who we sadly lost during birth in 2022. Sunlight was one of our favorite Snowmass Conopa XXX daughters and she was unique compared to the others because she carried Snowmass Incandescence, Snowmass Nova and Snowmass XXXtreme in one pedigree.

Schweitzer’s genotypic strengths are fineness, uniformity and intense architecture within the fleece. He carries through with a very solid, dense staple structure with nice brightness that we would expect to be seen in his crias. One thing we would like to mention is we would not cross this male with females who have heavy primaries - as he has aged they are showing more than we would like, but not to the point where we wouldn’t use him as a breeding male!

As a juvenile he has an impressive show record, at the 2021 AOA National Fleece Show he placed six in a very tough class with over 10 fawn juvenile male fleeces. Even with a sixth place placement he received a score above 80 points earning an advanced fleece award. He also placed third in the Dark Fawn Male Juvenile Classes at the 2021 Futurity and 2021 AOA National Show, impressive.

He is unproven but ready to breed.
