As you can see from the photo, this female is everything about being bright, crimpy and delicate. PBR Definitely Bright Star Gazer's "popcorn" style of crimp in her fleece is rare, and I am proud that I have finally succeeded in adding this style to my herd. You would think that with a dam such as PBR Gentlemen's Fascination, we would have seen spots and honestly, that is what I expected, but there is no disappointment in this corner. Plateau Breeze Ranch strives for a high-level fleece character in any color. Pandemonium has been highly predictable with the fineness levels in his offspring, and Bright Stargazer is an incredible example at the end of the fineness scale.

If you're looking for a herd sire with Defiance genetics and that unmistakable Defiance presence, look no further than Pandemonium (Bright Star Gazer's sire). His fleece is fine, fine, fine. Snow Diamond Pandemonium's 2019 fiber stats are: AFD 13.3, SD 2.9, CV 21.7 and >30 0.3. At the ABR Fall Fest fleece show, AOA Judge Diana Timmerman noted his nice crimp amplitude, excellent hand, a high degree of brightness and staple length. One would expect Pandemonium to exhibit lasting fineness in that his dam, Matrix Perfection, had a nine-year fleece of 20.2 microns. Her other 2019 fiber stats are SD 2.9, CV 14.8 and >30 0.3. Pandemonium has four EPD traits in the top 1%. It stands to reason, with his dam having five traits in the top 1% and one in the top 5%, Pandemonium is aging very well, retaining his lasting fineness. I'm excited to add his fineness and that undeniable head to my future cria.

PBR Gentlemen's Fascination (Bright Star Gazer's dam) is all that. There is no need to look any further. A suiting name if there ever was one, and you will see what I mean when you place your eyes on this phenomenal and rare female. She is the rarest of all Classic Harlequin Appaloosa's, seen with incredible density and almost indescribable character and color. All packed onto a solid frame with outstanding coverage. I have a soft spot for this appaloosa/harlequin animal's lack of words, especially when she showed up in a package like this one. PBR Gentlemen's Fascination has brought it all to the table, and her coloring is fascinating.
