We are proud to introduce you to Red Granites Salty By Val D Lsere, who, at such a young age, has all the qualities we look for in a Herdsire. He has incredible strength of bone with perfect conformation, and a glance into his paddock confirms that he is a 'look at me' male with eye-catching presence.

With such a rich medium brown colored fleece he carries through with exceptional fleece qualities ticking all the boxes for: fineness, density, staple length, brightness, color, and uniformity across the blanket and within individual staples. His uniformity of micron is what brought him his first championship banner in walking fleece (at his first show to add) winning with 70+ points out of 80, as he carries very little strong primary fibers in to his brisket area - which is something every breeder is striving for!

He is also extremely dense. Shearing 6+lbs of fleece as a juvenile and 8+lbs as a yearling.

With Red Granites Val D Lsere as his sire, a male who is demonstrating the longevity of fineness and fleece qualities in his progeny, we are expecting Salty to maintain his excellent fleece attributes. Even more, this is backed by the impressive maternal lineage that Satly has. His dam, Snowmass Heavens Spice is a two-time AOA National White Champion. She comes directly from the heart of Snowmass Alpacas' finest reserved white lines, meaning she is laced with the finest genetics that Snowmass has ever produced. Her maternal line brings in Futurity Champion; Snowmass Sweet Sage, a Snowmass Touche' daughter matched with Futurity Champion lineage Snowmass Conopa’s Kahuna, a Snowmass Conopa XXX son. And while being a direct daughter of Snowmass Heaven’s Guardian (one of the best Snowmass Elite Legend sons born) she practically ensures longevity in both fineness and uniformity of micron through the life of the alpaca!
