Description

Years ago we purchased a white male from Snowmass Alpacas, Snowmass Premonition, a Snowmass Sub-Zero son and maternal grandson of Snowmass Accoyocusani. He is the founding male of our white program here at Red Granite Ranch and his lines are famously known to be one of the most consistent in fineness, low CV, and a high curv and a fleece that remains extremely bright and fine through the age and life of the alpaca. Premonition throws nothing but amazingly consistent crias with these exceptional fleece traits, and we see those traits in this young female, one of his daughters: Red Granites Benatar.

Benatar combines her sires exceptional white lineage with that of Snowmass Matrix, Snowmass XXXtreme and Caligula's Accoyo Poseidon. That is one fine glass of genetics if you ask us. It has been proven that when crossing the Snowmass Sub-Zero and Snowmass Matrix lines that offspring of them carry the brighest and finest fleeces, that of course are carried throughout the life of the alpaca. Now when combining those genetics with one of the most prepotent colored studs in the world, Snowmass XXXtreme and Caligula’s Accoyo Poseidon who made his place amongst North America’s alpaca elite as Caligula’s most decorated offspring, you have a prepotent huacaya in the making that will deliver the finest, most uniform, and denest fleeces offered in world. This alpacas name is Red Granites Benatar, and she could be your next foundation female.
