His Sire, Red Granites Aragon is a genetic powerhouse and is a highly decorated male through both his show success and his progenies, Aragon is one of our most treasured fawn colored Herdsires because of how well he maintains his low micron and SD numbers as he ages. An all-time low micron of 13.5 microns and high of 20.2 microns, with an all-time low SD of 2.9 and high of 4.2 - Aragon checks all the boxes. His offspring are top show winners to boot.

His Dam, Irish Meadows’ My Lacy is an AOA National Champion herself and has produced two Black National Champion sons; Red Granites Lapu and Red Granites Legit. Legit knocked it out of the park with his 2024 crop of crias, which we are eagerly awaiting the time to show them all. My Lacy is one of our best foundation females who has exceptional longevity to her fineness and uniformity traits, which she passes on through generations.

Lionheart won the Male Best Bred & Owned banner under Amanda VandenBosch at the 2024 TXOLAN Sweetheart Spectacular, comments included: “soft handling fleece…upright male with pleasing style…maintaining softness, fineness, length of staple.” He joined our show team again for the Fall 2024, and won a championship banner at just about every show he attended.
