Description

Antonio is another alpaca that came to us with a great story.

When we purchased Santana and Carlos from Providence Meadow, the owners of Providence Meadow fell in love with Gavin. When Antonio needed to move from their barn at weaning time, they called me and asked if they could sell Antonio to Gavin.

Gavin saved his earnings from 4-H shows and chores that summer and paid for Antonio himself! Then he halter trained Antonio, and we have used Antonio in our 4-H program as well as playing with him in the show ring.

Thank you, Providence Meadow, for entrusting us with this cute little guy!

He is a full brother to Santana, who is probably the top performance alpaca in the US right now. He has a slightly shyer personality than Santana, as well as a much smaller frame overall, but he has done well in our 4-H program. If kids could show more than 2 alpacas in performance, we would bring Antonio too!

He has a lifetime home here.
