About Our Store

Developing our own lines has been a journey. When we first started with alpacas, we quickly learned that just a couple fleeces didn’t produce very much…and especially when those fleeces really aren’t all that great! I made a lot of dryer balls at the beginning.

But as our number of animals increased, and their quality increased, I was able to start having yarn made. Then I learned about fiber pools, and I was able to obtain products made with fiber we had sent in.

We support other small businesses; our yarns are made by a one-man mill in PA, our socks and hats by a small manufacturer in OR. Other socks and items are made by a small mill in MA. I am currently looking for a knitter to take our yarn and make yet other products. Keeping our money in small businesses keeps it where it can help families like mine.

We also offer educational opportunities; I am a licensed and experienced veterinarian with international experience in public speaking; I can come to you for courses.
