Not being a grey breeder, I was so surprise when Xander came into this world. A rose grey male was produced.....While researching the dam side of Xander it's no surprise that this happened because there is so much history of greys in the Emerald Farm Orlando Cloud line.
Ariya Maringo's Xander participated in both fleece and halter show and received Color Champion in both. Xander is square and boxy, a real true to type conformation. His fleece received comments like "Such a beautiful color! Fine, fine, secondaries in this dense, bright fleece!
June 21, 2021, Xander's first offspring is on the ground and he's proven to produce grey with his first medium rose grey female out of Super Sonic's Silver and Silk.

N'étant pas un éleveur de gris, j'étais tellement surpris quand Xander est venu au monde. Un mâle gris rose a été produit ..... Lors de la recherche du côté maternel de Xander, il n'est pas surprenant que cela se soit produit car il y a tellement d'histoire de gris dans la lignée Emerald Farm Orlando Cloud.
Xander d'Ariya Maringo a participé à la fois au concours de toison et de licou et a reçu le titre de champion de couleur dans les deux. Xander a une vraie conformation de type. This one is special! Her dam Romance, is a Snowmass Pure Reserve daughter out of our Conopa XX rosegrey daughter, Ransom. Her sire, Ariya Maringo's Xander, is a rosegrey halter and fleece CC who's pedigree include Orlando Cloud and Jumanji. Some much powerhouse genetics here that this girl had no other choice but to be amazing!! Her fleece is spectacular; fine, uniform, dense, super crimpy and bright...she really has it all! Her conformation is also spot on, plus she is very social and sweet little girl.

Just like her dam, this amazing little female displays greying on her neck and jawline. With her sire and her maternal grand-dam both being Classic Greys as well as her dam's line that has produced many roan like subjects, this female might be non-grey but definitely seems to also have inherited some roan like features from her genetic background.

As fawn is not our specialty, we typically only show our fawn subjects when we feel that they possess superior fleeces as most of our fawns come from a classic grey background! This was the case with Romantic Passion. Although she placed 5th in a though class as a cria, she went on to win Colour Champion Fawn as a yearling out of 14 fawn female entries.

Romantic Passion is now bred to Taji and expecting her first cria in 2025. Exciting things to come!
