    Description

    Man's Beautiful Storm is the cria of our Beautiful. Beautiful is the densest dam in our breeding program, but she also carries fineness and uniformity. Hence, we have no doubt that Storm will carry on her dam's fleece trait of density and her sire is extremely dense as well, fineness and uniformity. Storm won her first banner in walking fleece as reserve champion in white. Her lineage consists of Jeremiah, Best Man, and Hemingway. Storm's EPD picture is exceptional. Her first histogram shows AFD 16.1, AFD SD 3.1, and the COV 18.9, she will no doubt also have incredible fiber density. Judge's comments in a September 2024 fleece show were "beautiful crimp and brightness" "excellent uniformity" and she received a score of 76.5. In the PNAA IFA fleece show the variation between the micron was 1 micron across her whole blanket with a score of grade 1 and an average micron of 19.5. The average length was 4.25.

    Stormy' density is a result of both dam and sire. Of course, Majestics Man has incredible density but so does our foundation dam Beautiful. Stormy sheared 12.9 pounds at age 2. This is a testament to both dam and sire levels of density. I would suspect that she will be in the 1% for fleece weight with this year's EPDs. We as breeders have been working on density improvement for the past 3 years in our breeding stock. Our yearly crop this year all have fleece weights in the double digits.
