Description

From a very young age, Aftershock has displayed a high-frequency, uniform, and extremely dense fleece in roan. These traits are what named him the prestigious 2024 Futurity Roan Male Reserve Color Champion banner at his very first show, and most recently, the 2026 AOA National Roan Male Reserve Color Champion winner as a two-year-old!

His dam is our all-star foundation dam: Crescent Moon’s Anna Lucia, who has produced National Champions on multiple occasions. Her most notable offspring are RGR Aces Loaded By Val D Lsere (owned by Flying Dutchman Alpacas, Stillmeadow Alpacas, and Fleecy Farm), Red Granites Abeba, and Red Granites Aragon -- all of which, are multi-champion winners!!

Aftershock is one of our best Alydar sons and helped his sire win the 2024 Futurity Herdsire of the Year in the Large Breeder Division AND Dark-Offspring. He does have white on his front feet, and a genotype of EE a2a3 (non-grey). He has Top 5% EPDs too. His 2024 Histogram revealed a super-fine fleece at 16.4 microns with an intense CURV of 59.2 with an almost 4-inch staple length!! That is fantastic!!
