We are pleased to introduce Red Granites Shaka, a simply divine young male with an unbeatable lineage that WINS. Here is a male with a very colorful lineage with a divine light-colored fleece that crosses Snowmass Matrix Majesty & Snowmass Velvet Touché with Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose. What a surprise he was when he was born, to have such an incredibly BRIGHT and FINE light fleece coming from color genetics.

When you dive into the maternal side of Shaka's lineage you are first met with his dam: Red Granites Sizlin Sizzle, a light fawn Snowmass MR Siziln Rose daughter who at 4 years of age (2023) sheared 6.8 pounds of a 22-micron fleece. Her dam, H2R Seren was the 2017 AOA National White Female Color Champion winner and is also a Snowmass Velvet Touche daughter. She has produced exceptional progeny each year for us and remains a cornerstone breeding female. To add, Seren comes from one of Happy Hound Alpaca Ranch's most valuable maternal lines that starts with a Snowmass Conopa XXX daughter: H2R Seraphina. Seren is most notably the dam of Red Granites Shea (Champion Legionnaire daughter) who came very close to being sold oversea but has now been reserved for our program. She is also the dam of Red Granites Serengeti (Val D Lsere son), who produced the most gorgeous fleece as a 2-Year-Old Male. Seren's full-brother: H2R Motown Blues, is a lead Herdsire for Happy Hounds and has produced numerous show winning progeny. CCNF Legionnaire, Shaka's sire, has offspring all across the globe consuming success to extreme extents. An internationally recognized stud male with offspring residing across the United States, Canada, Poland, the United Kingdom, and Australia. His offspring are known for their impressive micron numbers which stay insanely fine and uniform throughout their lives as well as the extreme density and full-coverage phenotypes & frames he stamps onto his offspring. Legionnaire is the sire of multiple AOA National Champions, Canadian Supreme Champions, and even the densest alpaca biopsied by Ian Watt in the USA at 127.2 follicles/square mm density. Coverage from head to toe, dense as can be, his fleece is organized within the staple, bright, soft to hand, and uniform. As you open up his fleece, you smile. He had tight bundles as a cria that have turned into high-frequency and high-amplitude structuring. His phenotype and conformation are flawless. Extremely high quality. He will get better with age, we can promise you that!
