We are so pleased with this true black solid young male. He totally rocked it his first year of showing as a juvie. Strat continues to grow and is now a stocky, fully intact yearling male. We are really thrilled with his confirmation and his amazing fleece growth since shearing. He is super dense and fine for a black and consistently shows these characteristics across all parts of his body.

When we inquired about Sadie's mother, Felina, in 2021, Felina was not for sale but her daughter, Sadie, was. The catch -- Sadie was already bred to multi-Champion Clear Mountain's Stratton and Clear Mountain wanted to keep this offspring that wasn't due until the Summer of 2022. So, we requested a fleece sample and the long wait began...Sadie produced a beautiful male cria for them out of Stratton.

Fast forward to 2023: Sadie was bred back to Stratton, and made her way to Man in the Moon ...

Description

We sought out Stella‘s dam, Sadie, to breed with our AOA National Supreme Champion male, Ganymede, because of her genetics. But Sadie came with a breeding and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity for a pairing with clear Mountain Stratton. We are so glad that we went ahead and spent the time for this breeding. Stella is absolutely stellar! Pretty sure she is going to be everything we had hoped for — So far, she is champion / foundation material!

Financing Terms

Standard industry contracts are used. Breeding quality alpacas come with reproductive and live birth guarantees. You may take possession of your alpacas once the down payment is received and the “contract for purchase” signed by both parties. Transfer of ownership with ARI will not occur until full payment is received. Financing is available with 25 - 33% down, with up to 24 monthly payments. Buyer must purchase full mortality insurance for alpaca and offspring, if any, naming Man in the Moon Farm LLC as beneficiary on balance due until paid in full. Breedings include 60 day agistment unless otherwise noted. Special pricing often available for multiple alpaca purchases or multiple breeding purchase. Transportation responsibility of buyer. AUCTION & PACKAGED DEAL OFFERS: These are cash only unless different arrangements are made up front. No other discounts apply unless negotiated otherwise.
