Description

Red Granites VR's Nike is a beautiful, well-balanced, phenotypically and proportionally correct female with a stellar fleece and exceptional EPD values!

Her sire, the late Greener Pastures Pearl Jam, was a 2-time Judges' Choice, 10-time Champion winner and Best Brightness winner, respectively. He was one of the grandest sons of Caligula's Accoyo Poseidon and out of Crescent Moon's Blonde Bombshell, a direct daughter of 4Peruvian Legacy. Peruvian Legacy is the 2002 AAA Futurity Herdsire of the Year, the 2005 AAA Futurity Reserve Light Herdsire of the Year and a Blue Ribbon Get of Sire winner in 2002, 2003, 2004 & 2005.
The 1/2 Interest in Legacy was sold for $750,000 making Legacys market-driven price worth 1.5 million dollars and therefore the first Million Dollar Alpaca. Pearl Jam produced exceptional off progeny, even at such relatively young/mature ages, going on to win Judges Choice banners (Sire of the 2018 AOA National White Male Champion/2019 AOA National White Male Invited Res. Champion).

Her 3-time Reserve Color Champion dam, Red Granites Victory Rose is a direct daughter of Snowmass Matrix Rose, the sire of Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose. Her dam, MSA Valpolicella, a 3-time champion brown female who anchored our foundation herd for a decade. Valpolicella produced a range of champions from white to black, including the likes of Copaca’s Summit and his only cria, Red Granites Pennacle, a 3-time white champion/Best Bred & Owned winner now owned by Deja Vu Alpacas. Most recently, this line produced 10-time Champion, Ironhide Vapor (owned by Ironhide Alpacas & Aspen Alpaca Company). This maternal line continues to leave a legacy of consistency, color, and champion production.

On 5/26/2020, Red Granites VR's Nike gave birth to a beautiful white female out of Red Granites Bad Boy!
