She is one of 5 offspring out of our dependable foundation dam, Breeze, and she reflects the strength of that pairing beautifully. Breeze continues to hold an impressive 20-micron fleece in 2026, maintaining Grade 1 fineness at over 10 years of age. Diamond is already showing every indication that she will carry this same longevity of fineness forward.

Diamond’s EPDs align perfectly with her actual fleece traits. She ranks in the top 5% for fineness, top 5% for SD, top 5% for fibers >30, and an exceptional top 1% for medullation. Her fleece-weight genetics indicate she will reliably produce dense fleeced offspring. When paired with a male of comparable quality, Diamond is positioned to produce elite next-generation alpacas.

She has already performed well in the show ring in Bred & Owned and will continue her show career in Halter this fall.
