Description

Sunny Magnum Opus is a stunning roan colored male!! He has striking uniformity of micron within his fleece, but also for his depth of grey genetics that have a chance to blend very well with the genetic lines we have here at RGR...! We thank Sunny Alpacas for offering him at the 2025 EDU Auction.

His sire 357 Magnum, is out of MFI Jabberwoch, a 3-time Champion roan colored male who descends from LMFI Peruvian Black Midnight and Snowmass Andean Bronze - two auction hig-selling males who have both propelled the U.S. industry forward. The dams side brings in Emerland Farm's Orlando Cloud, a multi-champion classic grey stud male who had a profound impact on the grey herds. 357 Magnum himself is a 7-time Champion, Spirit of the Industry, and 11-time Advanced Fleece Award winner. Magnum carries through with excellent staple organization, density, and fine secondaries even into his extremities.

His dam, Starshire's Cerridwen Steel, is a 2-time Champion classic grey daughter of Neversummer's US Steel. Neversummer's US Steel is a multi-champion in his own right but is also a 3-time Futurity Herdsire of the Year winner in the highly competitive small breeder division. Her dam is a daughter of Snowmass Enlightenment and out of a Bisturi dam - a lethal combination of highly competitive grey animals if you ask us!

Take a look at his fleece photos at right. He sports an exceptionally soft fleece with length to the staple and a consistent crimp style from skin to tip.
