We now have several progeny from Prophecy and true to EPD predictions, they all have the expected improvement in fineness and other positive traits this herdsire contributed to each pairing. Prophecy's River Phoenix, his first male progeny, has 4 fiber traits in the AOA 1% Club. Prophecy also has been sustaining his own fiber fineness from year to year. Unlike many farms we do fiber analysis every year, we want studs who maintain their fineness. Be cautious of those farms that only give fiber histograms for their studs when they were very young.

In addition to staple length, Hemingway is in his lineage and is widely known for passing on fineness that many Accoyos may lack. An important value in EPD determination is the level of accuracy.
