We are so excited about bringing "BO" to our ranch! Bordeux's dam, Polo Fields Pippin, is full Peruvian 1/2 Accoyo, a Durazno daughter and Peruvian Fuego granddaughter. With beautiful presence, substance of bone, carriage, georgeous webshaped head, our girls are already lining up for him. Description


Tupelo Honey was the name we reserved for a spectacular fawn suri female cria from our breeding program. Who knew we would honor our first born female with this special designation?

As she developed, Tupelo gave us every reason to believe she will live up to our expectations. Her solid yet feminine frame is draped with fine, dense and lustrous pencil locks. She is the picture of a "Showgirl."

Tupelo started her show career with a bang--First place in her class and reserve (runner up) color group champion as a juvenile.

From her impressive foundation and color genetics to her striking and correct phenotype Tupelo has played a major part in developing the depth of quality in our suri herd.

Destined for lingering fineness:
Tupelo's dam and granddam are not only holding their fineness they rank #3 and #1 out of 189 in the EPD results for predictions to lower the AFD in their offspring. Tupelo is off to a good start by ranking #5 in that same group with these results from her first Shearing: AFD 15.6, SD 4.2, CV 26.8, %>30 0.9, CF 99.1

Tupelo's dam Kanilla's fiber stats are impressive by any standards. But for a 5 year old who has produced 2 crias, hers are amazing and have placed her in the top 1% in the EPD data base for the trait to reduce the AFD in her offspring. Kanilla's 2013 histogram reflects: AFD 20.9, SD 5.2, CV 24.7, %>30 4.5, CF 95.

On Sept 29, 2015 Tupelo gave birth to a true black female--Somerset Farm' Sapphire. The birth process was text book and the cria was vigorous from the time she was on the ground. She was up and walking within 20 mins. Tupelo had plenty of milk and took to nursing and mothering like she was an experienced mom.
