Description

A beautifully fleeced .38 Special son from a Mr. Roosevelt daughter and coincidentally the full brother to Crescent Moon’s Tennyson (also on our Hersire row). GPL has it all. His bone substance is second to none around here and his thick frame is just what we like to see on studs.

Crescent Moon's Gun Powder & Lead is a proven gray-producing Herdsire you would be sorry to miss with breedings. He is an extraordinary Fleece Champion, Aussie .38 Special son who carries the impeccable, grey lineage of his dam, the one-and-only ATV Rose Pearl. The production quality of these two crossing lines is gray excellence incarnate.

Crescent Moon's Gun Powder & Lead's production history is proof of his limitless gray/black potential. His first eight offspring all came from dams of these following colors: Medium Rose Grey, Bay Black, Medium Silver Grey, Medium Fawn, and Light Rose Grey. The offspring were all Medium Silver Grey, Medium Rose Grey and True Black. Prepotency for Black an Gray production is in his genes!!

He himself was the 2013 Great Western Alpaca Show Fleece Grey Color Champion, thats at one of the largest shows in the U.S. Three years later (2016) with a 5-year-old fleece he took home the National Western Stock Show Grey Reserve Champion, lasting fineness proven.

In 2021 his EPDs reveal he is in the Top 5% for Mean Staple Length and Fleece Weight!
