    WAP Captain's Dutchess

Suri, Female, Unproven | Light Brown

    AOA# 31310413   D.O.B. 9/21/2008, 1/4 Peruvian, 3/4 Bolivian

    Sire:
    Captain Morgan
    | AOA# 818920  | Dark Brown  |
NO ONE spells consistancy better than "Captain Morgan"! Time and time again he has proven his superior genes have the ability to pass on that wonderful suri phenotype to his crias AND, after 10 years of offspring, he's still producing color champions! Captain has literally thrown every color on the chart. If you're breeding for quality AND color, you've found it! If you're looking for consistant color production out of any colored dam, check this out:

213 crias registered - 94% LF or darker
61 white or beige dams bred - 87% LF or darker
27 black crias (over 12% of all his crias are black!)

Captain Morgan is an incredible, mahogany, 3rd generation USA-born suri! He has produced 100% SURI offspring! Captain's crias are known to inherit their sire's density, luster, coverage, and amazing personality. If you're looking to add prominent luster to your offspring, the Captain genetics are a must in your herd.

We believe this is one line EVERYONE needs to take a closer look at. Winner of the 2005,2006, 2007 AND 2008 Futurity Reserve Suri Herdsire of the Year award, Captain Morgan genetics should be in YOUR sights for future breedings. Placing 2nd in the country only to his sire, DDF Peruvian Macgyver (deceased), 4 years in a row, this is a very consistant, dependable line if you're looking to add positive suri traits to your breeding program.

    Dam:
    Mariah of Hickory Ridge
    | AOA# 818247  | Light Brown  |
Mariah is a proven suri female with a simply stunning mahogany fleece. Not only is she proven, but she's proven that she can produce daughters - 5 of them, as a matter of fact! She has excellent luster and lock with a soft handle. Carrying correct conformation & a correct bite, she passes on these positive traits to her crias.

Mariah has been an excellent producer on our farm and we're ready to share her with YOU! We have daughters out of her who have also gone on to produce FEMALES! We are happy to include her spring breeding to a Wings & A Prayer herdsire of your choice. This includes Captain Morgan who has sired 3 of her previous crias.

A very attentive dam, Mariah has abundant milk and delivers effortless births. Her crias have good weight gains and friendly dispositions.

    Description

Dutchess is a Captain Morgan daughter out of Mariah who produced 5 females during the time we owned her! Dutchess has a sweet disposition and excellent conformation. Her fiber characteristics are on the softer side, and she can use some density when choosing a herdsire to improve her offspring.

Purchase of Dutchess entitles buyer to a one-half price breeding to any Wings and A Prayer herdsire. We would recommend either Carbon Fiber (Torbio son) or Maserati's Fabian. Either of these males should improve fiber characteristics in resulting cria.
