A Visit to Haven Humane
Every year at Haven Humane, there is a two week camp that teaches the kids to work with some of the dogs & cats that will be adopted. To introduce them to other animals, we were invited to bring a couple of the alpacas.
All in all, both the kids and the alpacas did very well. Everyone got to pet the alpacas and we showed lots of product which was fun for the kids as well. We gave everyone bits of fiber that they could "spin" into a bit of yarn by rolling it on their legs.
