Harvard Alpaca Ranch is a working alpaca farm that currently maintains a herd of 38 alpacas (including 3 babies born in 2025). We offer farm tours and we have a retail shop full of luxurious alpaca products. We offer additional services such as professional shearing of alpacas and sheep, alpaca-assisted therapeutical activities, agisting (boarding), mentoring to new farms, farm rentals for special events, and unique opportunities to interact and learn about alpacas.
In additional to the herd of alpacas living on our Ranch, you will also find the Alpaca Shop, full of all types of beautiful alpaca products. Our products include yarn, socks, hats, scarves, gloves, and mittens, blankets, stuffed animals, and a variety of souvenirs from the Ranch. Can't make it to the shop, visit our Online Alpaca Shop.
Do you have a special occasion that warrants a SPECIAL TOUR? Ask us about our Enhanced Tours! Enhanced tours are private tours that include having an alpaca on halter for an up close visit, in addition to meeting all the alpacas on the Ranch. We are located on 5.7 acres of beautiful farmland that was formerly a horse farm. Located at 58 Old Mill Road, we are easily accessible from Route 495 and Route 2 in the heart of apple country of Nashoba Valley. Our alpacas are fortunate to have large areas of pasture to graze and stretch their legs. We strive to make our farm earth-friendly and sustainable. Our farm is primarily powered by the sun, both through the solar panels on our roof and through the pasture grass we grow. We pride ourselves in providing our herd the highest quality facilities to ensure happy and healthy alpacas. Happy and healthy alpacas produce high quality fiber that we turn into first rate products.
The Ranch is open to visitors Thursday through Sunday, with farm tours being offered on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. When you arrive, please enter through the Alpaca Shop and check in with our staff. Hours: Thursday & Friday: 11:00AM-4:00PM; Saturday & Sunday: 10:00AM-5:00PM. We occasionally close the farm for special events.
