UPDATE:  We had a very successful 2022 Spring Show season!  This in turn fueled our sales!!  We are happy to announce the appreciation to the following farms:  Shambalah Ranch for their purchase of Electrofyre's Thyme Signature at the 2022 Futurity Auction;  Raynay's Simaril by Electrofyre was purchased by 3 different farms; Salt River Alpacas purchased Raynay's Larence by Tempo; Carolina Sunshine Alpacas decided to go with both Moonshine's Kirsch of Silva and Raynay's Kiss Me Quick of Salvo; GreenWilde purchased Unleaded and Tawny; and Green Cedar Ranch grabbed up Raynay's Cayenne and Raynay's Maximum Clairty.  Fall 2022, Raynay's Jasmine by Salvo was purchased by Dark Lotus Farm . Lastly, Wind Walker will make her new home in Nebraska

We decided to consign Raynay's Destiny by Moonshine to the 2022 Destination with an Education Auction and she was purchased by Flying Dutchman Alpacas.  At this time we are going to add Raynay's Black Forest to our female foundation herd.  This leaves Raynay's Crepe Suzette by Electrofyre (purchased by Suri & Co), Raynay's Chase of Nataliah (unfortunately deceased), Raynay's War Admiral by Spectacular (Co-owned with 2 Point Farm), Raynay's Silky Smooth Jazz (Co-owned with Stacy Broderick) and Raynay's Flora (purchased by Heritage Farm Suris) as our yearling 2023 Spring Show Line-Up.  We have decided to consign both War Admiral and Flora to the 2023 Futurity Sale.

This was by far our most productive birthing season at Raynay Alpaca Farm.  We had a total of 20 births!  Not without some drama though.  2 crias needed a little help and had to make a trip to vet clinic with mom to get a plasma transfusion.  Both moms and crias are doing well.  We lost one cria at 8 days due to a genetic disorder similar to hemophilia.

We needed to get some of our up and coming herdsires proven and that we did.  Sonata's Major Theme by Electrofyre and Raynay's Moonshine put some awesome cria on the ground this year and we are excited to watch them develop with high hopes in the showring next year.  12 cria are from previously unproven herdsires from our farm.
