Field Trip/Large groups Information
We are very happy to have special outings for kids and adults alike. From Homeschools, Summer Camp Programs, FFA, University Vet Programs, Team Building and more, we love to have you visit our farm to share what we do and everything alpaca with you.
The experience is the same whether a regular tour or special group with a few exceptions.
We book these by phone so we can customize your experience a little further.
- Kid Programs: We respect the need to keep our kids in a more private environment. We know tracking all the kids is far easier than mixing in people you don't know.
- All other: We know you have larger groups with planned outings and the need to have your private experience.
Group Sizes:
We do set a minimum of 20 and maximum of 50 for your private event.
If you are a school and you wish to invite parents, please make sure they are included in the number of people attending. We will not allow parents to attend unless we know they are attending. We don't want strangers with your children and we don't know who is or isn't a parent for a given child. This is for the safety of the children, staff and our farm.
Tour Times:
10:30am 90 minutes
1:30pm 90 minutes
If your group has special timing needs due to distance travel we can discuss this over the phone when you book your tour.

ADA Compliance
Deaf
We are committed to making our farm tours accessible and enjoyable for all guests. While we are not able to provide a physical sign language interpreter, we do offer our full tour information in written form to ensure effective communication. This includes key educational content, alpaca information, and tour details so that all visitors can fully participate in and enjoy their experience. Please let us know in advance if you would like these materials, and we will be happy to provide them.
Wheelchairs/Electric Chairs/Walkers
We strive to make our farm welcoming and accessible to all guests. Our grounds can accommodate wheelchairs, electric mobility devices, and walkers, with wide ?????? and exit areas and a mix of concrete and gravel pathways. There is also a small ramp (approximately 6 inches in height) to assist with access in certain areas. Please note that due to the nature of our rural setting, some surfaces may be uneven. At this time, our restroom facilities are not large enough to accommodate larger wheelchairs. If you have specific accessibility needs, we encourage you to contact us in advance so we can do our best to assist and ensure an enjoyable visit.
Companion Animals
For the safety of our guests and animals, we do not allow pets or companion animals on the farm. Under the ADA, trained service animals are generally permitted; however, they may be excluded if their presence would pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others or to the animals on the property. Due to the nature of our working farm environment—with livestock that may be unpredictable around dogs—we may restrict service animals in certain areas where safety risks are present. We are happy to discuss alternative ways to accommodate guests with disabilities to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Blind
We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming experience for guests who are blind or visually impaired. We offer one-on-one assistance during your visit, including guided support throughout the farm and during interactions with our alpacas. For safety, when in areas with animals, a staff member or owner will remain with you at all times to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. While we do not currently offer materials in Braille, we are happy to provide verbal descriptions, answer questions, and tailor the experience to meet your needs. Please contact us in advance so we can best prepare for your visit.
